The new build development located on Brentwood High Street involves the demolition of a two storey existing building and construction of a four storey development with Shop (A1) and Café/ Restaurant (A3) accommodation at ground floor and residential (C3) accommodation to upper floors with plant areas at roof level.
The site is located in the heart of the town in Essex, due to receive Crossrail transport links in the coming years.
Chapman Architects were appointed by Southbrook Estates to progress the scheme to submit a planning application within the local Conservation Area. Working closely with Brentwood Borough Council, it was clear the proposal is of key interest within the town centre and permission was granted in January 2016.
Chapman Architects have since been appointed by the Raer Group, whom will be developing and constructing up to completion expected in Summer 2017.
